Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Public Complaints Commission

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Public Complaints Commission (RNCPCC) deals with complaints regarding the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers.

It’s responsible for the Royal Newfoundland as well as Labrador. 

The RNCPCC handles your complaint regarding police officers and their conduct. 

Your complaint must reach the RNCPCC within 6 months of the occurring of the misconduct. 

It’s important to note that your complaint will, in a first step, be referred to the relevant Chief of Police. 

If you can’t reach an agreement with the Chief of Police, the RNCPCC will try to resolve the issue, dismiss it or refer it to an adjudicator to open a public hearing about it.
