In existence since 1971, the Zurich Ombudsman's Office as the first Swiss parliamentary ombudsman's office. The ombudsman's office provides information and advice on questions, concerns or complaints relating to the city administration of Zurich. It examines complaints between external people and municipal employees or an office and mediates. It acts free of charge, independently, confidentially and neutrally.
