Information Commissioner of Canada

The Information Commissioner of Canada deals with complaints regarding access requests for informations to government authorities. 

You can submit a complaint to the Information Commissioner of Canada in the following matters:

  • the institution’s response to the request
  • when you did not get a respond to an access request by government institutions.
  • how an institution treated your access request

 

You must submit a complaint to the Information Commissioner of Canada before the 60-days deadline has passed for your matter.
