The Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI) deals with complaints regarding an issue between consumers / small businesses and their banking services or investment firms.
You must have tried to resolve the issue directly with your banking service or investment firm, before contacting OBSI.
Banking institutes have 56 days to settle your dispute with them. Provincial credit unions up to 90 days.
If you didn’t get an answer in the timeframe or you couldn’t reach an agreement, then you can contact the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments.
