The Conciliation & Mediation Assistance Clinic (C-MAC) provides telephone conciliation and face-to-face mediation services. Under the supervision of professional mediators, Loyola Law School students help resolve disputes involving:

  • Landlord and tenant issues.

  • Neighbor disputes.

  • Family disputes.

  • Divorce and collaborative divorce.

  • Consumer and merchant disputes.

  • Discrimination.

  • Organizational disputes.

  • Employment disputes.

  • Youth restorative justice.

Students also assist with case intake, conflict assessment, negotiations, and mediation.

Collaborative Family Law Clinic (C-LAW)

The Collaborative Family Law Clinic (C-LAW) helps clients resolve divorce and family law matters through the collaborative family law process. Students work alongside attorneys and professionals in the mental health and financial fields to support clients in collaborative divorce mediation, with a focus on serving underrepresented families in Los Angeles County.

Dependency Court Mediation Assistance Clinic (DC-MAC)

The Dependency Court Mediation Assistance Clinic (DC-MAC) provides mediation services in dependency court matters at the Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Court. Under professional supervision, Loyola Law School students observe and participate in dependency court mediations, help draft mediation agreements, and support families involved in dependency proceedings.
