The Information Commissioner of Canada deals with complaints regarding access requests for informations to government authorities.
You can submit a complaint to the Information Commissioner of Canada in the following matters:
- the institution’s response to the request
- when you did not get a respond to an access request by government institutions.
- how an institution treated your access request
You must submit a complaint to the Information Commissioner of Canada before the 60-days deadline has passed for your matter.
